Mark Hodges has over 30 years of professional experience in Strategic Planning and Total Quality Management. Mark also offers services in the areas of change management, performance management, continuous quality improvement, and succession and career path planning.
Mark worked for Hovnanian Enterprises, one of the nation’s largest publicly traded homebuilding companies, as Senior VP of Corporate Operations. He joined the company as Vice President for Quality, and launched a TQM-based quality management system. In that role, he trained more than 3000 employees in the principles of process improvement, and oversaw the work of hundreds of Process Improvement Teams. Documented savings from the work of these teams totaled in the millions of dollars.
During his tenure, Mark facilitated the company’s long term strategic planning process and also led the creation of the company’s succession planning process, career path development programs and its performance management system.
After retiring from Hovnanian, Mark founded a multi-program non-profit foundation and served as Executive Director for two years, raising nearly $2 Million to support the foundation’s programs. He then worked for two years as Chief Quality Officer for BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc., redesigning their quality assurance protocols and processes, and led the implementation of a company-wide GRC software system.
