Steven Smolinsky is President and co-founder of Benari LTD, a consultancy advising senior management on leadership team issues. Benari also provides family transition and advisory services as well as EOS® implementation. EOS® is an integrated business operating system enabling an organization to achieve superior performance through full alignment on vision, accountability, measurement, and implementation.
He also is Strategic Advisor Geneva Global, which is an international consultancy that helps clients maximize their social impact. On behalf of clients, Geneva Global’s work has directly benefitted more than 30 million people through 1,500+ projects in over 100 countries.
Smolinsky holds an appointment as Project Faculty and Region Manager for the Wharton Global Consulting Practicum program of The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania and Resource Person for the United Nations. He also had an appointment as Consulting Professor National at University of Singapore.
Current speaking topics include Developing Your Story, Pay Attention • Add Value • Have Fun, Launching A Business, and Cultural Issues of International Business. His book Conversation on Networking was published a few years ago. He is writing a new book on all he’s learned about business success tentatively titled Pay Attention • Add Value • Have Fun. For many years, he has written the weekly Benari blog on leadership and management.
He is Board Member for George Nakashima Woodworker, Artifact Technology, and Anthurium Solutions.
Previously he co-founded and was CEO of Workers Transition Network, which developed a unique method for resolving long-term workers compensation and disability claims. He led the sale of the company to LewisCo Group and remained on the LewisCo Group executive committee for a two-year transition period.
Smolinsky served as strategic advisor to Glenthorne Capital Management, a mid market investment bank, and has been a managing director of The Governance Group, a retained executive search firm.
